ABOUT ORBIT
Jason Carruthers is a dual licensed optician & orthokeratologist with special interest in myopia control and irregular cornea. He has traveled extensively, training and advising doctors across Canada on prescribing and fitting specialty contact lenses. He was born and raised in Windsor Ontario where he attended Kennedy High School and the University of Windsor.
He studied Ophthalmic Optics and Ocular Pathology at The School of Opticianry at Georgian College where he was awarded an honours diploma. He has extensive post-graduate training in Lasik co-management, ocular surface disease, dry eye and orthokeratology for the treatment and prevention of myopia.
Jason is also a recognized expert in the field of cosmetic eyelash extension.
